Although I understand the logic of what you're trying to explain, none of the corners that make up the plane of A, B, C & D are actually restrained (well not on any kart I've driven). You could also argue that the same plane does not take any direct force during cornering either as that is to the side of the seat, which getting back on topic is Adam's problem. Are you saying that the rigidity of the seat allows the cornering force to be spread across both rear seat mountings (ignoring extra seat braces for now) due to no movement in the back of seat - changing the dynamics of the chassis by acting like a torsion bar?
At this point I think Ian's argument of how much the sides flex when squeezed together would have more effect considering the where the seats are restrained, than the rigidity of the seat's back.
