Adam is being quite conservative with his senior honda experience. A very quick driver with meticulous kart prep and a fairly full trophy cabinet.
Adam - I've been thinking about the seating position difference between my Tony Kart (or CRG) Max, and the 7 Kart Honda. The 7 Kart optimum position is considerably more 'laid back' than what I ever used in Max. I'm making the assumption that you haven't carried over this seating position to the Max. If you are have, this could explain why you are sliding forwards. Is there a particular track which is causing the problem? I found Warden Law with it's dusty low grip surface fairly undemanding physically but Teesside a totally different story - so much grip its pretty impossible to spin a Max - ask Christian about his neck! If you have the back end hopping at Teesside your ribs know about it very quickly.
Christian - Yes, really miss the speed and cornering grip of the Max but have to say that the Pro Kart racing is much more precise and closer (I'm at the wrong end of the grid now though!). If Dave gets a decent grid this year I'll seriously consider investing in an engine package and unbolting the Tony Kart chassis from the garage wall! I hate to think about how much money I lost when I sold my Max last year.
