Bucky the short list was down to 4. Iame air cooled, Iame water cooled, Comer, and i think a Paraolin but havent got info to hand. I agree Bucky a water cooled engine for £850 does sound unreal but i have seen the complete unit and The pump system is very simple with a small rad.Iame are placing the air cooled at £800 and water cooled at £850.In my opinion if the MSA were not looking to change i think they should have just given comer a new extension with changes to carb for say 3 years and not waste other manufacturers time putting in tenders etc, but as you said this is up to the MSA and logic sometimes doesnt come into it. As a dad of a cadet who could have up to 3 years left i hope the decision comes quickly.On a personal note i wish we would mirror europe in the classes we run, ie a mini 60 engine restricted from 7 to say 10, mini 60 unrestricted from 10 till 13 (super cadet). Then on to mini max, KF3 etc.This would then get rid of the big jump from cadet to Juniors. Just my opinion!
