The difference was that the Bluetop produced consistent lap times within 0.1 of a second and the Greentop times were consistent within 0.6. Craig admits that given time he might have got more consistent, the power comes in slightly differently and he had made a few mistakes (!) but he didn't think that he would improve the laps overall, because the kart wouldn't do it.

SimonS, so your saying by switching to a green top Craig's laptimes varied by 0.6 seconds?? well im sorry but either Craigs run out of talent between the 2 test sessions, or the stopwatch has a mis-fire. As you well know after testing them myself it is not a huge difference and therfore takes probably 2 laps to adjust, and definatley not 0.5 especially for someone of Craig's experience even with a few little mistakes.
