The dyno findings were interesting, but none the less they are only the findings of a dyno on a certain day, you cannot reproduce track conditions on a dyno, nor can it tell you why motor A, which on paper & dyno readouts is identical to motor B, but when driven B had a little more mid, so is slightly better suited &is consistently 1tenth quicker than motor A. Formula Blue The Facts!! Shame there from your perspective only!! Simon S stated that he hasn't witnessed any unfair advantage by Green top motors over Blue tops, I agree. The only results I've seen also are the best drivers on Blue/Green top motors winning races!!! So here are some facts for you to chew on, they are from my perspective only though, but do feel free to check results online As the stopwatch never lies..... Not sure where the 8 second a lap difference comes from that the last post mentioned look down to the Septemner round at Clay, the lap times of the top four drivers, a mix of Blue & Maxi were separated by 3x100ths of a second
Duncan McLeod (Maxi) seeded no2 Paul Johns (Blue) seeded no9 Ian Bramfield (Maxi) seeded no3 Kevin Ford (Blue /Maxi) seeded 6 Russell Oneill (Blue) Chris Derrick (Blue)
All the above are top drivers who have won many races/championships even before the advent of the Maxi engine

Blue So make what you will of these true race results from the top blue southern drivers, (not dyno runs) Having raced against some of these drivers for years, they were quick when they were skinny & they are still quick albeit a bit lumpier!! So Green tops can be beaten & as Simon S says Blue drivers who can't win against a green top should maybe admit they were not beaten by a better motor, but a better DRIVER
