This might not sound helpful, but believe me, it is.
It's not correct to assume anything with kart setup. You could try a harder axle, but personally I'd be trying a few "free" things first, or at least cheap things. I am very inexperienced with setup, but have spent the last year or so trying things on my own kart. Mid corner oversteer, but pretty well gripping up on entry and exit is sometimes provoked by having the front end set up a bit narrow. Also, if you have adjustable KPI, try increasing it a little and see what it does. It might just be that the steering isn't unbalancing the back end enough.
I've not yet managed a "stiffening the rear" setup change that doesn't increase rather than reduce oversteer. But when it happens I won't be surprised. Semi-educated experiments reap far bigger benefits than listening to experts - try a few things and see what happens. I take it you've already had a play with tyre pressures?
