Regards Martin Hines saying that ditching the seal would make it more expensive is utter tripe, He stands to lose the most by ditching the seal because he would not sell as many replacement barrels, etc. Regards Comer W60,s all being close on power again utter tripe there can be over a second a lap difference between a bad one and a good one. Did engine tuners charge a fortune for a tenth in the days of the tuned / fiched S60 No! sealing and no fiching makes it more expensive cost for me to machine a barrel to get it crack on port timing / squish wise = £0.00 I have access to the right equipment, cost to hire a dyno for the day trying many different barrels to find that sweet one in excess of £700.00!
