Not entirely correct that the club does not ban a driver. The landowner (in some cases the club) has the right to refuse permission for an individual or individuals to enter their property and the club also has the right to refuse to accept a race entry. I do not recall many occaisions this right has been used but I can recall cases where clubs (both car annd kart) have refused driver entries following incidents at meetings, whilst out of racing hours but still under the day of the MSA permit which is in force for the whole 24 hour period for the day issued. One case was when a driver, having consumed one too many bevvies assulted a member of the circuit staff at 11pm. The MSA followed this up and the driver involved was suspended from all MSA motorsports for 6 months.
