I always find it very surprising that all classes of gearbox appear to have fallen away......although, in fairness, it is having a minor renaissance at the present. Three Sisters dropped the championship a few years ago due to lack of entries, although, they are getting a small grid now at most meetings which is great to see......there was always a 250 nat grid too several years ago.
Why is it not more popular? I can understand the argument that perhaps it is cheaper to race TKM if you are on a budget as most club racers are.....but is it really more expensive than Rotax......plus the fact that you are racing a guided exocet.......and the drivers tend to have a bit of respect for each other, and their kit.....
Makes me wonder????
