Weight distribution is one of the least important factors in the myriad of set-up options. Nevertheless it should always be 50:50 laterally, regardless of the track. Remember the Indianpolis cars with offset suspension? That was to get the weight on the inside. Why doesn't the same apply to a kart? Because it doesn't have a differential and needs to pick up the inside rear wheel. When we set up a kart, we do it to handle optimally in both directions.....it cannot be improved in one direction by shifting weight to one side, it would result in oversteer one way and understeer the other. The only set up variable that might usefully be set asymetrically is caster angle, but in that case it is down to the direction & speeds of the corners i.e. if all the slow corners are left handers and fast corners are all right handers, then it might be useful to increase the caster angle on the left front to account for the reduced steering input on fast corners.
