Thanks ScoobyScene.
Actually we've been running 12.5 in Mini last year but took some advice and ran the 8.5 in Junior at the weekend on a completely different setting, much leaner and changing from 30/30 to 60/60. We still weren't completely on the pace but better than we were earlier in the day. We also ran gearing much lower.
So I'm wondering now if setting a 12.5 the same as we ran the 8.5 will make much difference at a track like Whilton. We will test next race but that's a month away and track condition changes between sessions can always skew things. Just interested in how the two carbs might perform when set up the same.
Thanks for your advice.
