"stick to things you know" - that's exactly what I'm doing, I'm voicing an opinion as an outsider looking in and telling you how it is, sticking to what I know and I can say that when testing on a Saturday with a race the following day after a full weeks hard work earning the money to race then the last thing I want to be doing is waiting around for a meeting. At that point I am knackered and just want to get home as quickly as possible and get my dinner, fix anything wrong with the kart and then go to bed before I fall asleep on my feet.

But hey if the turnout has improved then that's great, but there are a lot more who can't be bothered turning up to a meeting and that's where the problem is.

If there was better communication to all license holders from the ABkC about proposals then I think you would find the turnout improve significantly at local club level when serious issues arise, but I can't see why everyone should have to turn up to a meeting to get their point accross.

Things would be a lot easier if the ABkC just emailed all the license holders for their opinions on proposals then they could have a wider opinion than just the die hard fanatics.

I also think the ABkC should contact any driver who has gone from the sport and ask them what the reason was for leaving the sport and I also think that they should be asking newcomers what impression they have about the sport and how did they find out about it.
