I think that's the only difficult part, what age do you get a voice on the issues? I do think though as has been said that any issue to do with class changes should be put to the majority and have a vote on issues and the result on the votes can then be used to gauge opinion and therefor make a more informed judgement.

Currently as it is karters feel it is too much effort to start going to meetings on top of the racing, an easier way for karters is to discuss the topics via the internet (shock horror), gauge their own opinion on the subject and then use a vote system for the class changes and you only get a vote if your a license holder. Under 16's don't get a vote but their parents should get the chance to vote on their childrens class.

It seems to me that one drivers union could act much faster and be much stronger than waiting for 34 club meetings to take place each month, waiting for issues to be put forward (time frame?) and then deciding whether to go to the MSA with any issues. Instead a forum could be used to discuss changes (where only license holders and MSA officials are allowed), the Union could decide if a vote is required, if it is it could be done via email and then view the results and contact the MSA with accurate opinion of the karters within a month of the issue being raised.

I'm sorry but 34 meetings taking place in person each month, well it's quite easy to see that it's a pretty complex time consuming system and I'm not surprised that nobody turns up.
