i dont know of any motorsport where its only a 1 day event, i wouldnt want to be doin my 'testing'on race day, only for faults to ruin the heats, its expensive enough without ballsing a day up without testing only to maybe have a decent run in the final...the calender for events is well in advance, and competitors should organise what time they have in accordance to whether they race all weekend or not...just my opinion
