as an option the pre final race would be 8 laps followed by a final of 12 laps. the reason behind this is as what johnm said previously, too many classes and not enough time for driving on the track, therefore with more small practice sessions and longer racing it might create a bigger interest possibly and have larger grids for less classes and be more competetive.
