Hi - The best seat position has almost nothing to do with how tall you are, or what class you race in.
There is a right place for the right type of seat on your chassis (plus or minus 20 mm or so).
Once the seat is in there, you can adjust the pedals by quite a bit to give you enough leg room. I am 6 ft also, and with Tillett seats installed bang on manufacturers recommendations, am 100% comfortable in OTK and Gillard chassis, with room to spare in a Sodi
You can either contact your chassis manufacturer to ask or put your chassis details out here and somebody will know.
