I still fail to see your point Nicky. I feel its more of a personal attack than a cry for honesty! I find it odd that you didn't attack 'raceinstructor' for his offer of a crg test.
The fact that I have driven an ARC all season and had a decent enough time on the kart means I am in a good position to offer advice. I have driven and run most varients of karts this season and I honestly have to say that the ARC is right up there. Who else would recommend the kart other than a person who has been on it? Honestly is someone who hasn't tested or run a kart in a good position to recommend it? Or is a driver on a kart deemed as having a vested interest?
You make it sound like I have a business interest in ARC! I wish! My position is I want to give Dave Klaassen something back for helping me this year and giving me the chance to race on a top kart and believing in me! When times were tough for me financially this year (I pay for all my racing myself) Dave was there to support me and help me through the season. A gentleman who is willing to do that in my books deserves a lot of thanks, Daves a friend now and I would do anything to see the guy, his team and his karts succeed.
The karts had some very very good results including a win with Josh Waring at Clay super 1 in seniors and leading the same junior final for most of the race with Luke Cooper. The karts they have used have both been from the start of the year and lasted very well so no issues there.
Everytime I recommend the kart in conversation with people I advise them to test everything they can. I have no issue if an ARC doesn't suit them. I have run drivers on Jades, Tonys, JKHs, ARCs, Storms... it doesn't bother me either way what kart as long as the driver is happy, Eve my driver wanted an ARC, couldn't get one however so I advised to buy a Tal-Ko, she ended up with a Tony lol but it didn't bother me at all, as long as she is happy then I am. You seem to forget I am in this sport for the love of it too. I have had to retire due to a lack of talent but I can't let go and I will remain involved to give something back to the sport and to the people who have helped me.
I know your passionate about the sport also but you really have read me all wrong. As for your GYG damage, how could I forget! Luckily my kart didn't come out quite as bad as yours. That kid was a muppet for that move though.
