I hope they are still going to run normal senior TKM. If not then my plans are gone.

Intention was to replace my lads chassis and use his old one with extreme engine but it doesn't fit within those rules. Worn TKM slicks I have a plenty from his kart so really dont want to buy more. All spares we have are for 50mm axles.
Hmm, I think I still have his original venom chassis lying in a corner somewhere.
TBH, apart from the cheaper entry fees I'm not sure it will be more cost effective. Tyres wear at the same rate no matter where they start from so will have to be replaced more often. Gears wear at same rate so again will have to be replaced at same intervals. Possible saving on engine rebuilds as gearing suggested may reduce max revs. Would still need a transponder.
I can also see this leading to smaller grids in both clubman and senior TKM.
Not convinced its a good thing.
