Manufacture (or purchase if available) a spacer that conects the pulse tube to the pulse hole in the Tilly carb. I have one in aluminium, but I should imagine the TKM spacer could be drilled easily and a ni@@le bonded in with araldite or similar. This is much easier than drilling the barrel and crank case, and leaves the motor 'legal'. Not much point putting on a Tilly less than 24mm. Why not try a Hubchun, Ibea or Baroni from the ICA/Formula A days. Proper carbs. Must be loads about. Used to be Ł50 on fleabay.
