These new tyres require a much more precise set up. Also driving technique is critical. A small change can destroy fronts in no time. Equally we've run through a set of rears twice as fast as the fronts by going too far the other way. We suffered from overheating fronts by introducing oversteer to try and stop the kart from bogging down exiting the corners. With a solid rear axle the kart must 'skip' so as to not induce inherent braking while accelerating out of slower corners. But if we ran the fronts too narrow we suffered the same issues you're now having. No substitute for testing - we've got faster through trial and error!
