Torsion bars

In/out has an effect on the torsion of the front end (how much it flexes really).

Vertical/horizontal has an effect on how stiff that torsion is (limits the amount of flex further).

Out = most flexy
In horizontal = middle flexy
In vertical = least flexy

I race TKM and therefore do not use torsion bars - this information is just theory.

The general rule is this - the stiffer your kart, the more grip it produces.

But, of course, theory in karting counts for nothing - go and test it out for yourself!
