No speed trap! It's an average based on circuit length and race time. Without checking the laptops I think the circuit length I have in the system is 900 metres. This is what is shown on the MSA Track Licence. I don't know how accurate this is, it's been the same as long as I've been involved at the circuit. If someone wants to measure it properly I'll willing change it!

For info the reason the average speed of the Rotax 177 final is so low is that the race time was over 58 minutes due the Red Flag incident with Jason & Chris at Pylon.
