If you look on the general karting forum under this thread, you can see pictures of a kart on display at the JM shop at PF. That shows a 60cc Parilla engine on a Birel chassis.
However there were other posts which suggested it would be a choice of 60cc engines whilst another said it would be a choice based on HP.
I can see how scrutineers could check on cc but how could they check on HP without a dyno?
I really think the biggest problem is not the announcement of a new class but the lack of technical regulations and comment about changes other than the increase in age for the junior classes of minimax, tkm and blue.
Why not wait until the regulations have been finalised and then give full details.
Suppoase it gives the forums something to specualte on!
