its the classic thing of wanting to learn and hearing massively differening opinions on the same subject and not knowing enough yourself to seperate the good advice from the bad.i went through a long period of this myself until i decided id rather make my own mistakes than others
there is software available that will take a lot of the guesswork out of jetting, you just need to work out if its affordable for you
failing that,i was just out with a novice driver in rotax the other month and i just stuck a 168 jet in there and said practice on that until you start to get quicker, especially in this weather.its in NO WAY a scientific or correct way to jet your carb but it will do the job without fear of seizure when you dont know what your doing
now, someone is going to come on here and tell you MY advice is wrong and misleading too! :)
