I didnt use a piston stop as you said I held the opposing nut and unscrewed both nuts.I changed the clutch and took the fan off to have a look inside just out of curiosity really.I then purchased a piston stop so i could retighten the nuts.I hope I havent damaged anything by doing this.If I take the fan off and look at the ignition magneto what position am I looking for? Are there any timing marks to line up with?
