We recently purchased a brand new carb as we only had one and wanted a spare, on fitting the carb to our engine (w60)it was immediately obvious there was a problem, the engine would just stall as soon as the throttle was pressed, the jet settings were checked and were found to be correct, so i sent out my son to complete a few laps to see if the problem would clear, unfortnately after only five laps the engine siezed and it was clear the engine had leaned right off, in my experience there was clearly a blockage or i imagine some machining material had been left in the carb from manufacture, at this point i am wondering how many other people have heard of this problem or suffered it themselves ?
