Rather than ask the scruts, why not email John Ryan? i would be surprised if there is any reason why you can not use a nose cone from another chassis. I have certainly seen Zip Blades with Storm bodywork (I have one but don't use it).
It would also help if everyone who posts a comment on this forum writes to the MSA to voice their concerns.
Most incidents involving a roll will result in a red flag. Maybe we all need to write to the MSA asking that whenever there is a red flag incident racing has to be halted until the incident is investigated by CoC and MSA Steward. An announcement can go out asking for witnesses and any karts involved can be examined and suspect parts sent to the MSA.
This may disrupt racing but should help to resolve any safety concerns.
