IMHO, changing the restrictors will achieve nothing as the engines will be geared to rev higher to achieve the same result.
Problem is cornering spped and that is down to the tyres, which are too grippy for the class.
At Larkhall, the juniors are lapping three seconds quicker than Minimax (which is also an 11-16 class) and about half a second faster than Jr Max, which is restricted to 14 and over.
With novices in the mix and the normal variation of skills, incidents tend to happen aplenty. This is why there was TQ at Larky this weekend gone, and it seemed to work well enough.
You might say that Larkhall is unique and problems only happen there, but it needs to be sorted and if the problems are cured at Larkhall , they will be OK everywhere else with little impact on the drivers.
