place. that was someone else.
i said in formula 1 they only award points down to seventh to reward consistancy,(note the consistancy part)

which is where being awarded place points that you didnt ACTUALLY achive is not doing.

as for why a rival has left it so late to rival the championship, maybe they have just got better over the year and it has come down to the last meeting.
