thats the whole point of racing isint it?
to beat other drivers!
who wants to be given a championship or points for that matter.
my whole point in this disscussion is that why sholud anyone be given a place point/s when it hasnt been earned.

if my lad ever wins a championship i hope he wins due to being the best and not because he was given finishing place points that he didnt achieve!
is winning that first race not just as important?
so on the day if you finish 4th behind 3 non members would you congratulate yourself for finishng 1st and not beating the other top 3? that could realistically happen all year!
thats not winning!
