If these nose cones are found to be safe when in `new condition' then that will be very reassuring.
Safety must be paramount but if it is a case of `if the nose cone is damaged and the kart then spins and then gets run into by another driver it could be dangerous' then perhaps it is going too far to ban these - just make sure they are safe at the start of the race.
Karts also flip when tyres go over each other.
