Just to justify my cost. As he did say top team. If you want to run with a 'top' team I assuming you want to finish near the top. I have based that on what I would want, in that situation. I included new wet and slick practice tyres and new slick and wet race tyres. Hire of 2 'top' engines for the year, use of 2 new chassis in the year, awning space and mechanic for 3 days per meeting, re-jig of chassis and set-up between meetings, race and practice Atol fuel, I also included all spares, share of travel expenses for team/mechanic. ie a full Arrive and Drive Package. I nearly added in race suit, helmet etc.
These costs covering the year is S1 and divided between the 6 meetings comes to approx my value.
Of course if you were to include club meetings etc in that the cost of the engines and chassis would get diluted over more meetings and thus reduce the cost per meeting.
