I agree that yet another class, no matter how well intentioned it may be, is the last thing karting needs!
My main worry about this is as follows though...
I assume the idea behind creating this class is to allow people to experience KF racing on a smaller budget, with senior drivers using KF3 motors.
The problem is that, and I am assuming that the difference between KF3 and KF2 is the same as that between junior and senior MAX, ie an engine can't easily be changed from one to the other as with TKM, people like myself who eventually would like to race in KF would have to buy KF3 motors to race in this class (to get a taster of KF racing), only to have to buy KF1 or 2 motors to go KF racing in any of the major championships!
At a time when these engines cost as good as £2500 each surely this is a significant drawback of the KF3 senior idea?
