we reqularly practice at blackbushe and have used anything from a 94 up to a 97 in the wet on a b5 engine you should be fine with a 94 on a b1 we used a b1 around there when i was trying to get my lad to play with the carb settings and i think we managed about 13800 revs doining a 27ish sec lap i would think you should try to invest in a mychron or alfano to keep an eye on the temperatures though as they can do more damage than over reving. the revs won't be at peak for very long at blackbushe as the straights are very short.
