Having discovered (thanks to the knowledge of some helpful people on this message board) that I can get a leak in a rotax radiator (silver) repaired, my next question is how best to go about finding the leak. I know roughly where it is but cannot pinpoint a crack from the outside - do I need to open the radiator somehow; I ask because it appears to be a sealed unit.

As a side question, is there any fundamental difference between the black and silver radiators - for example could I purchase a black one (there are some going second hand on ebay) with the relevant fittings, and attach it to my engine, or do certain engines have to have cartain rads? On both questions I apologise for my ignorance, and would like to thank you all for the help I've recieved so far, and also fo rany further help.

Martin
