Well reading between the lines I'd take that as it purely has to move forward?
That isn't saying when it has to be fully engaged...
Oh and I think S1(John Hoyle) is doing a good job with the changes. Nothing against Steve but what about employing Mark Fell as co-commentator alongside him? He was always good and connected well with the drivers. Sometimes good to have 2 pairs of eyes and differing views to catch all the action (Steve Chapman was also good at the O plate at Whilton a couple of years ago thinking back). Whatever sport, football, athletics, motor racing, benefits from some good commentary, in my opinion.
I also still think spectators should get free entry. The more people that attend, the better the atmosphere, which then adds to the event and will possibly bring new people into the sport, generating money for the circuit and others anyway.
