Ian,

Thanks for this, i have spoken to Zip Kart today and they are saying the carb or the 2 filters prior to the carb.

The Kart is one year old with about 15 hrs running, basically as new.

I have just cleaned both filters and run the Kart and still have the problem.
I have also fitted a new spark plug i had as a spare, when removed the old one WAS black wet and dripping.

Kart on Stand:-

Engine idles as normal and when you apply throttle the engine pics up quickly and will run at full revs, wheels spinning, no more smoke than normal etc.

Kart on Ground:-

Engine Idles as on the stand but will simply hesitate then die when power is applied.

How do i check if the carb is holding pressure? can i clean the carb?
