when starting out i bought a rotax max in 05 the clutch lasted 12-15 hrs use without ANY maintaince then the circlips started flying off the wholetime and i got the clutch plate changed the groves on the pins wore away apart from that iv never had any problems,but do keep a good eye on them,i rekon that was just beginners luck the clutch lasted that long, i just clean them with wd 40 inspect for any broken springs etc. replace as needed and keep an eye on the circlips,and the end plate(the plate holding the clutch on) and replace if needed and youll be OK and keep on eye on the wear on the clutch pins and replace the clutch back plate before the groove is gone,nothing worse than a ruined day.
