We never had a problem with the XTR clutch, it always engaged beow 5000 rpm O.K.

You say that it does not do engage below 5K after changing the pinion. Did it engage O.K. before?

Is the clutch bell spinning freely on the bearing or is there not enough end float now that you have changed the pinion gear?
