Can anyone advise what is the best plug to use in the WTP B1 engine at this time of year. I am currently running a NGK B8EGV. What should the plug gap be set to.

I have also fitted a new carb to the B1 engine and on the stand the kart runs fine and revs throu. However on the track the kart will not rev. I have set the needle nearest the engine to 35min and the furtherest to 90min. My driver cannot make alterations so how do I know if the engine is too rich or too lean?
