Paul..it was good to meet you both yesterday, as i said Max looks good out on the track his speed will increase with time (bum in seat time), the cable tie will help him get smoother through the corners, this will again help him to get quicker. once he is smoother in the corners he will be quicker down the straights, there is a lot for you both to learn but it will come with time..keep asking questions..the advice everybody gives you is good advice but you have to learn what works for you and Max, what works for Josh may not work for Max..you are looking to make the kart comfortable for Max, this will give him more confidence in the kart, which will make him quicker..in short...keep at it..i may have a set of dry rims if you want them.
