I always find it odd that you can provide a fixed cost like that without any caveats/warnings that other parts might be required. What happens if the conrod is worn? or the crank journals?
Without labour let's assume that you probably need:
piston complete small end bearing crankshaft oil seals main bearings big end bearing gaskets
Has it been fiched? Do you want a top line motor back or a nice safe one?
Labour:
Strip and rebuild plus crank split and re-true possible re-bore and hone
What about your carb,clutch and exhaust?
A decent engine builder can give you your engine back gleaming; much better than I can do in my garage.
Attach some prices to the above and that might help you make a decision. Who do other people use where you race?
If you are competent then give it a go but it is nice to know what you're starting with.
