What a great thread. OK... here goes for my top 3.
1. Kilcornan in County Limerick, Ireland. Built on a golf course, so no problems if you leave the track [unless you end up in a bunker that is] and with fantastic undulations. There's a 'bigger dipper' type like Paddock Hill in Brands which drops off so fast that you get butterflies in your stomach every lap. Unfortunately its now too dangerous to race on apparently :-(
2. Mondello Park, near Naas, Ireland. This is a 1.24 mile car racing track that hosted everything up to Formula 5000 machines. To my knowledge it was and still is, Europe's and possibly the world's fastest class 1 track. Getting the right side of 100mph in a 100cc machine is almost as good as sex ! Apparently 2007 was the last year karts raced there too - too dangerous as well ?
3. Granja Viana, near Sao Paulo, Brazil. Built on the side of a hill with some fantastic landscaping and a killer of a straight leading into a negative camber first turn. Quite a few of the GP drivers have their end of year bash there [including Schumi]. There's fantastic facilities - including a great bar and my God almighty but the Brazilian women are incredible !
