The most local circuits that are on the race calendar this year are Whilton Mill and Rye House. Clay Pigeon isn't too far either. However you can run the kart at pretty much any circuit on an open test day if you just want to practice. It shouldn't be a problem to take the kart to Forest Edge, Blackbushe, Shennington etc on any of their open test days.
There are also exclusive easykart test sessions on the day before each race which helps make it cost effective travelling to the more distant circuits.
I don't know about too simple :) It's every bit as competetive and the racing as good or better than the other MSA classes. It just has the added bonus that as its single make and cost controlled, you can be competetive even on a tight budget. It also has a friendly club atmosphere and is geared up to make it easy for those new to running their own kart without compromising the racing at the sharp end.
Anyway, the best bet is to see for yourself. There is a winter round at Whilton Mill on Feb 8th - Head along and see what you think.
