250 National tyres next year

It would seem common sense has prevailed at last and next year 250 Nationals will be allowed the same wheels and tyres on S/C as approved for L/C. If true this is great news and should help boost 250 S/C entries (no need to buy separate wheels and tyres anymore!). Looks like Rissington has adopted this change for 2009. Does any one know if there will be a change to the MSA regs to reflect this (which will be binding on all MSA clubs) or is it at each clubs discretion next year? Put another way - can 250N drivers just turn up to S/C meetings next year with 6" wheels and Dunlop slicks or should we confirm beforehand with the organising club before putting in entries?
