I totally agree that the Masters and youngsters should race in the same race so that the grid is not diluted. If you end up with less than 12 in a race then there is not as much enjoyment (in my view) as running with a full grid of 30 (which we mostly do at Whilton Mill)

The beauty of running with the younger drivers and the larger grid is that you race with drivers with various skills. By racing with the really quick lads this raises your own skill level. Without the quicker drivers you would naturally get slower in time.

So my vote will always be with a single grid but with a mixed class. This gives the best of both worlds.

I also think that 35 is too young to split the class and that 40 is a more reasonable break point (or 50 bearing in mind that I am 57)
