That's a fair point bt3962, but if you left the fuel reg open to MSA regs and pump fuel you no longer require the specialist transport, storage and disposal licence that you listed. The only thing you need is the test equipment and technicians of which there must be a number around the country negating the requirement to travel from Dorset, however a designated series fuel scruitineer would be the way to go. The cost involved in the fuel testing officials could be built in to the entry fee as are the other officials. This route would in no way detract from the competitive racing and would be less of a pain for the teams. My apologies to the employees of ATOL & SUNICO fuels as you need to earn a living but the current control fuel system is no more fair than an open pump fuel reg with the threat of fuel sampling and unreasonably expensive.
