You presume correctly Alan. I'm so out of touch I have no idea about this Evo malarky, aside from the gent in the kart shop who tried to sell me a whole new ignition kit for £750. No thanks. I had to stop myself from laughing in his face.
It's bad enough I've shelled out on a Rotax, let alone spending more money on it.
I'll probably buy another coil anyway as it's only £25 and I guess it's worth having a spare just in case. On the day I did wire the switch together and gave that a go, but still no spark. The kart wasn't even attempting to fire though so it did have a very 'electrical' feeling to it all. Not heading back over till the weekend so will report back again when I get a chance to take a closer look.
