At age 33 I would guess that you do not have your sights on F1 but just want to have some fun. IMHO it now comes down to where you live, how often you want to race and how much you know about chassis set-up etc. Option one would be to see what classes run at you local track - either msa or ikr and buy a package for that club to, race once per month plus some test days. Option two if you want your own kart might be Birel ART (used to be called easykart) - you have your own kart but restrictions on gearing etc and a national series so some travel. Option three would be to race with Club100 in either sprint or endurance series (or both). You would visit different tracks and so some travel b ut the karts are supplied so just arrive and drive.
