Knighty re-read my post, I only passed comment on Iame cadet super 1 and mini x30 and junior x30. I havent a clue what goes on in honda having not raced there. Considering we spent alot of time with thompson last year i did see how relatively easy and straight forward it was if you had some decent engines and Harry didn't have the waft to match some of his rivals, Chris didn't put loads of time into the class either and when we were hiring tracks at Rowrah and fullbeck also spending test days at various other tracks we never saw the honda. So for me my advice would be go honda seems simple and straight forward alot like the rotax class we used to race in this year, bolt the engine on and let the kids race. The Iame cadet class is whole different beast and well worth staying away from. Everything i post on here is from experience and i wouldnt pass comment on a class i know nothing about. No amount of talent will get you in the top 5 at Iame cadets without a big budget in super 1, its that simple knighty, so my comment has nothing to do with Dogman's son achievements in honda and well done to him for getting to second, what honda i have seen this year looks competitive and the grid looks healthy.
